경기도에서 태어나 홍익대학교 시각디자인과를 졸업했다. 『이주홍 할아버지가 들려주는 팔도 옛이야기』 『북경 거지』 『활활 불이 있어요』 『박타령』 등 여러 어린이책에 그림을 그렸다.
Born in 1969 in Gyeonggi Province, Han Sang-eon studied visual communication design (BFA) at Hongik University. He has illustrated children’s books including The Peking Beggar: Sino-Korean Short Fiction from the Joseon Dynasty (published by Changbi), Grandpa Lee Ju-hong’s Old Tales from throughout Korea, The Fire Is Blazing, and A Song of Gourds.
