동화작가. 1973년생. 숭실대학교 국어국문학과에서 공부했다. ‘글과 그림’ 동인, ‘이라크평화를바라는바끼통’ 회원이다. 2003년 미국의 이라크 침공에 반대해 ‘이라크반전평화팀’으로 이라크에 다녀왔고, 한국군 파병 반대 활동을 벌이고 있다. 동화책 『문제아』 『새끼 개』 『어미 개』, 이라크전을 몸소 겪으며 쓴 『어린이와 평화』, 현장예술가 최병수가 살아온 날을 풀어 쓴 『병수는 광대다』(공저) 들을 냈다.

 

Born in Seoul in 1973, Park Gi-bum studied Korean literature at Soongsil University. In 2003, he actively participated in anti-war movement as a member of the Solidarity for Iraq Peace Team of Korea, travelling back and forth between Iraq and Korea, and has been engaged in activism against the dispatch of Korean soldiers to Iraq. Currently, he writes stories for children in a small village very far from the big cities.
