2000년 한국출판미술협회 공모전에서 은상(동화 부문)을 받았습니다. 그동안 『박씨 부인전』 『초정리 편지』 『꼬마 너구리 삼총사』 『옹주의 결혼식』 들에 그림을 그렸고, 『할머니의 할머니의 할머니의 옷』을 쓰고 그렸습니다.

 

Born in 1972 in Seoul, Hong Seon-ju is a freelance illustrator for both publications and multimedia. The recipient of awards in the Seoul Illustration Competition and the Korea Publishing Illustration Contest in 1998 and 2000, respectively, she has drawn for children’s books including The Happy Prince (published by Changbi), The Frog in the Buyong Pond (published by Changbi), The Tale of Lady Bak (published by Changbi), The Farting Daughter-in-Law, The Jin-hwi Virus, In Search of the Golden Ruler, Kong-jung and Pat-jung, I Wanna Play with You, I’ll Be on Your Side, The Sea on the Wall, Bbiggo’s Adventure, and I’m Going to School, Too.
