1966년 경북 영천에서 태어났다. 이화여대 동양화과와 같은 학교 교육대학원 미술교육과를 졸업했다. 『내 짝꿍 최영대』『새는 새는 나무 자고』『옥이야 진메야』등에 그림을 그렸고, 『바람 부는 날』『누구야?』『내 거야!』를 쓰고 그렸다.

 

Born in 1966, Jeong Soon-hee studied Asian painting (BFA) and art education (M Ed) at Ewha Womans University. She enjoys a wide readership thanks to her illustrations for works including best selling children’s fiction My Buddy Choi Young-dae and Butterflies Fly by, which creatively adapt traditional Korean colors and sentiments. She has also penned A Windy Day, a picture book, based on her eldest daughter.
